1. Spin — Each pick reveals a real CFL franchise + decade (e.g. “Saskatchewan Roughriders · 1960s”).
2. Draft — Choose a player who actually played for that team in that era. Build a 12-man roster with the required positions (1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 OL, 2 DL, 1 LB, 2 DB, 1 K). Each spin opens with a shortlist: the best player, a sleeper, a trap (high rated but at a position you have already filled) and the best at every position you still need. Tap “Expand all” to search and sort everyone. Tap a team name for its history.
3. Wildcards — You get 3. Use one to pick any remaining player. A 20-second play clock starts; run it out and the wildcard is lost (Delay of Game).
4. Simulate — Play an 18-game regular season. Reach 14+ wins for the playoffs. Win the Dominion Cup. Chase the true 18-0 perfect season.
Modes
• Solo — classic challenge
• Head-to-Head — draft against the CPU (you get limited redraws)
• Daily — same seed for everyone that day
• Hard Mode — ratings hidden
What to expect
• A sloppy draft wins about 10–11 games
• A solid draft wins about 13 and has a shot at the playoffs
• An excellent draft wins 14–15 and contends for the Cup
• 18-0 is rare: even a near-perfect draft gets there only about 1 time in 20
Tip: Old franchises (Rough Riders, Concordes, 1990s U.S. teams) and modern Elks/Redblacks are all included. Tier labels show how rare a rating is: Elite 95+, Star 85–94, Starter 70–84, Depth under 70. Tap any team name for its history.
