Sources, mix, EQ, and record — in one place.

Simple service workflow: open a camera, shape sound on the mixer/EQ, cut between sources, and record to a file. Hardware panels (GoStream, Fomako, Peavey PV10BT) stay available as control surfaces for planning and practice.

Works now: laptop / UVC USB webcams · mic through EQ + mixer · multi‑cam cut/fade · local recording · session presets.
Needs extra gear/software: USB security cams that are not webcams · RTSP IP cams · RTMP/NDI/HDMI switchers.

1 · Video sources

Use a laptop camera or standard USB webcam (must show up in the Windows Camera app). Then shape audio in Mixing Board / EQ System tabs and hit Record. Security cameras on USB only work if Windows lists them as a camera; network cams need a working HTTP/MJPEG URL.
Off Audio: Off Rec idle
Click Find cameras to list everything Windows sees (laptop, USB, DroidCam, Phone Link).
No camera active
Press Start camera for laptop webcam, or Connect IP cam for 192.168.1.72.
Program sources
Split-screen / multiview program output
Picks two or more already-connected cameras (thumbnails above) and composites them onto Program live — this is what gets recorded and streamed, not just a UI preview.
Go live (RTMP)
Not live. Requires the local server (server.js) and FFmpeg installed.
IP / security camera (network)
Browsers can show HTTP MJPEG / snapshot. Many security cams use RTSP (rtsp://192.168.1.72:554/…), which Chrome cannot play directly — use HTTP path from the camera manual, or enter a full custom URL. Each camera you connect here is added as its own source under "Program sources" below (same as a USB camera) — click Connect IP cam again with a different address to add more than one.
IP camera idle — IP set to 192.168.1.72
Ready — press Start camera to use your laptop’s built-in camera.
